Estate Activities
Fishing ::
Salmon and trout fishing is available on the
River Doon during the summer season. We have two beats with rods
available to let by the day from £15.
Gardening ::
Tuition is available on all aspects of gardening. The courses take place
in our formal garden and glasshouses and are available to guests
holidaying with us. We can usually tailor the course to suit. Prices on
application.
Tennis ::
A hard surface tennis court is available for hire to any of our guests
who are staying on the Estate. Proper tennis shoes must be worn; we
regret that we do not provide racquets.
Bird Watching ::
We are fortunate to have an abundance of wildlife, including red
squirrels, otters, badgers, roe deer, woodpeckers, jays, etc, which we
hope our guests will enjoy as they walk around the Estate.
Falconry ::
We can arrange a private display of falconry from
Skyhigh
Falconry, including hawks, owls and eagles. Experience these
magnificent birds at close quarters.
Other Attractions
South Ayrshire is blessed with beautiful countryside and a host
of attractions for visitors, including some of Scotland's finest
golf courses.
